Michelle Berry Domer, J.D.
Michelle earned her B.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1989 and her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in 1992.
With over 30 years of experience in family law, Michelle now dedicates her practice exclusively to matters involving children—adoption, guardianship, and the termination of parental rights. Her work reflects a deep belief in stability, compassion, and doing what’s right for those who often don’t have a voice.
Rooted in Legacy, Guided by Integrity
Michelle’s father, Thomas A. Berry, was a respected attorney with a bold presence and unwavering ethics. Though now retired, his impact on the legal community—and on Michelle—is lasting. He taught that your word should be your bond, that trust is earned daily, and that clients deserve more than legal answers—they deserve clarity and peace of mind.
At Berry & Domer, those values continue. The firm’s mission is shaped by that same standard: to offer honest, compassionate legal guidance that empowers families and protects children. Whether navigating an uncontested adoption or advocating through a contested termination, the work is grounded in integrity.

“Clients don’t expect miracles.
They expect straight, plain talk…
and peace of mind.”
— Thomas A. Berry, June 1992
It’s a promise Michelle carries into every conversation, every courtroom, and every family she serves.
